Meet Shauna
After spending years as a science educator, I turned my passion for teaching, creativity, and community into The Vintage Flame Candles.
What started as a love for candles became a mission to help people understand the Science behind a quality candle and to create a welcoming space where people can gather, learn, and make memories.

Our Inspiration
At The Vintage Flame, we believe a candle should be more than just something that smells good—it should help make a house feel like home.
Our candles are hand-poured using luxury coconut apricot wax, premium fragrance oils, and carefully selected vessels designed to complement any space. From cozy everyday scents to seasonal favorites and unique specialty collections, each candle is crafted to create a warm, inviting atmosphere and lasting memories.
Our Ingredients
Our candles are thoughtfully crafted using a luxury coconut apricot wax blend that is vegan, gluten-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and free from the toxins commonly found in traditional paraffin candles.
This premium wax blend provides a cleaner, slower, and longer-lasting burn while delivering exceptional fragrance throughout your home. Paired with carefully selected vessels and high-quality fragrance oils, our candles are designed to help you create a warm, inviting atmosphere without compromising on quality or sustainability.

Candle Care
To get the most out of your candle, allow it to burn for 3–4 hours during the first few burns and always trim the wick before lighting. Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 1/8" and remove any charred debris to promote a clean, even burn.
You may notice wax clinging to the sides of the vessel during the first several burns—this is completely normal with our coconut apricot wax. As the flame burns deeper into the jar, the vessel warms and the remaining wax will melt and slide down, typically catching up by the final burns.
For safety, discontinue use when approximately 1/2" of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel.
